As a student of Culinary Arts, when I had to select a topic for a research paper, I chose Herbs. I delved into the history, folklore, myths, legends, and medicinal uses of various herbs. 30 years later, I have a garden full of herbs grown for their medicinal values. Each plant provides more than we could possibly use in a year, so we started preserving and packaging them to share with others. There are no pesticides or herbicides used on our farm, and the only fertilizer is composted manure from our animals.
